Indonesia is a big country. Big with its land, its humble people, its natural resources, and its culture. Special for the culture, Indonesia has a lot of cultures spreading in all grounds of Indonesia. Indonesia is the richest country of all for having cultures. Therefore, in Indonesia there are a number of places for conserving those cultures. They are called cultural pledge. It can be a museum, a temple, or a national park.
From a thousand pledges existed, some of them is endangered. One of the endangered cultural pledges in Indonesia is the Museum of Lampung. Museum Lampung is stated in Z.A Pagar Alam Street No. 64, Gedongmeneng, Bandar Lampung. It was built in 1978 and finished in 1979. Actually it is located in the downtown.
Museum Lampung is a wide spot. It provides unquestionable facilities such as auditorium, library, storage, security office, mosque, and of course the showroom. Museum Lampung has more than 4.690 collections comprise of ten various. They are geological, biological, historical, ethnographical, archeological, numismatic, heraldic, philological, artistic, and technological collections.
Like what people have known, a cultural pledge is built in order to conserve and preserve cultural, historical, old-fashioned, and scarce stuff. Similarly, Museum Lampung also aims to keep and take a care all those things. Moreover, it is used as the cultural development center in Lampung province. People should understand that it is important to learn about past time events.
In short, as a country with a number of cultures, Indonesia must have a lot of places which is able to preserve and conserve the historical stuff in order to keep the stuff from extinction. Besides, the people also should take a part within saying and doing these steps. If this works, Indonesia will completely become a great country.
